The Eden Project/Sessions VIP Tickets
June and July 2024
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
Volvo Cars Shrewsbury Old Potts Way, Shrewsbury, UK,
SY3 7FA (‘Us’ ‘We’ ’Our’).
2. The Volvo Cars Shrewsbury Prize Draw Competition is subject
to the following conditions and is open only to UK residents who are 25 years
or over.
- The prize
is a pair of VIP tickets to the Eden Project Sessions. VIP tickets include a
one night stay at a luxury hotel as supplied (The hotel details to be confirmed
when the prize is accepted by the winner and are not transferable to any other
person and only apply to the hotel we confirm).
Each prize of two VIP tickets to one Eden Session
in 2024 as noted with dates on the schedule in these Terms and Conditions.
- Volvo
Cars Shrewsbury will notify you of which tickets you have won for what date and
artist, and this is not negotiable. There are six prizes available in total and
each winner will win a pair of VIP tickets to an Eden Session taking place in
2024. Each pair of tickets include access to The Eden Project and one nights’
accommodation (on the date of the allocated show for two, based on double or
twin occupancy), at the Fowey Hall hotel.
- The prize does not include the cost of any travel to and
from the Event or to and from the hotel. Any food, service or drinks costs that
are not expressly stipulated as part of the prize will be payable by the
individual winning customers themselves. We are the sole arbiter regarding any
dispute and our decision is final.
3. The Prize Draw is open to customers ordering
their Volvo vehicle from 7
th June to 21st June 2024 or
those entering via the no purchase necessary route (see clause 22). An eligible
order is a signed order agreement with required deposit paid.
4. In entering the Prize Draw you are
confirming you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to claim any
prize you may win.
- A maximum of one entry per customer is
permitted
- One customer can only win one pair of
tickets
- All entrants must be over 25 on 7th
June.
- There is no charge for entering the Prize
Draw.
- There will be a maximum of six winners of the main
prizes who will be selected on 23
rd June 2024 at random by way of a
fair draw from an opaque draw bag with the individual names of the customers
who have entered the draw only in the bag or by a software randomized fair draw.
- The decision of our draw team will be final, and no
correspondence or discussion will be entered.
5. The Prize draw will take place on Sunday the 23rd
of
June 2024 and any decision regarding the draw will be made by us and
our decision will be final. The random draw will be undertaken by one of our
team with another team member present. Our staff are ineligible for the Prize
draw and so cannot win any tickets from the Prize draw.
6. By entry into this Volvo Cars Shrewsbury Prize Draw, you are
agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions and that you are eligible to
claim any prize you may win.
7. To confirm you have won we will send a direct message to the
chosen winner via email and/or SMS using the contact number and or email
address supplied by the entrant notifying them of their win.
- Should there be no response from a winner within 24 hours, a
new winner will be selected and notified, the same process will be repeated
until there is a confirmed winner for the prize. Our decision is final.
- If we deem a winner ineligible, we reserve the right to
deselect them as winners and randomly select another winner.
- Volvo Cars Shrewsbury reserve the right to exclude any
entries which it believes to be inappropriate, fraudulent, or based on
misconduct.
8. No liability is accepted for submissions that are lost or not received. No liability is accepted in the event there is no response to telephone calls, direct messages or e-mails when contacting a chosen winner.
9. By law, we must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Volvo Cars Shrewsbury. In such circumstances, we must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
10. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternatives in whole or in part.
11. You agree that the Volvo Cars Shrewsbury may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website, social media and any other media and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
12. Volvo Cars Shrewsbury will not accept liability for minors left unattended at the Event
13. Prize winners are responsible for their own property (including clothing, umbrellas, child seats etc) at the Event - please ensure it is always kept safe.
14. We accept no responsibility
for loss or theft of, or damage to property except if caused by Volvo Cars
Shrewsbury’s negligence
15. Volvo Cars Shrewsbury shall not be held responsible for any cancellation of any part of the prize, event or activities, which may be due to circumstance outside its control, including - but not limited to – sickness, adverse weather conditions or Covid-19 factors. There will be no alternative offer in respect of any such cancellation.
16. Volvo Cars Shrewsbury, its
agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable
to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal
injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is
caused by the negligence of Volvo Cars Shrewsbury, its agents or distributors
or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
17. It is the winner’s responsibility to declare any tax liability to HM Revenue and Customs
18. Winners may be required to participate in related publicity without further reward. E.g. be photographed for website/newspaper stories, provide a short statement about their win.
19. Volvo Cars Shrewsbury
reserves the right to withdraw or amend without notice this prize competition
in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside of its reasonable control.
20. Volvo Cars Shrewsbury reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

22. Free entry to the draw is available by submitting an
email with subject line ‘June Prize Draw’ with your full name. address. email
address and contact phone number to
sales@volvoshrewsbury.co.uk
Please enter all the stipulated criteria or we may be unable to enter you in
the draw.
23. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
